New wire prop for 2017

Postby PBudden » Sun Jan 08, 2017 11:09 pm

Hi chaps...

This weekend I made a new prop and ran a test.

https://youtu.be/agzR6gJMre8

I made a wire sphere with three lengths of heavy gauge plastic coated garden/fencing wire.
Bent the ends into small hooks and made circles, then put the three circles together.
All the hooks are compressed to hold at the bottom and some tie wraps at the top and bottom to hold all secure.

Fitted 8 pixels on each of the 6 "legs" giving 48 in total.

I think I may make another two of these.

1 week into the new year and you have made a new prop !?!
Ive designed a few new props in xlights and re-done a sequence from last year.
We are all mad !!

Btw. I like the sphere. I just have to work out where I could put one. :)
